Tom Maxwell, a five-time Golden Guitar nominee, and renowned entertainer Rodney Vincent will deliver a truly special variety show at the Tamworth Community Event Centre, Darling Street Tamworth, on Saturday, 17 January at 11:00 AM. 

Widely recognised as one of Australia’s finest balladeers, Tom Maxwell draws inspiration from the pioneering legends who have shaped his musical style. Through his heartfelt performances, Tom aims to keep the spirit of the Australian bush and its rich heritage alive. Like the balladeers who laid the foundations for our country music industry, Tom continues to honour these stories in song. A seasoned entertainer, Tom has received numerous nominations and awards, including the prestigious Star Maker, and has been a five-time Golden Guitar finalist. In 2010, he reached a career milestone with his induction into the Australian Country Music Hands of Fame in Tamworth, NSW.

Rodney Vincent is celebrated as an all-round entertainer, captivating audiences with his diverse range of songs—originals, covers, storytelling, and comedy. He recently released “Country Music Man,” a tribute to country music legend Terry Gordon, which has garnered several award nominations at Tamworth this year. As we bid farewell to some of our beloved pioneers and legends, Rodney, having shared years of friendship and performances with Terry, penned this heartfelt song that has enjoyed widespread airplay across Australia. As Terry himself remarked, “At 82 years, I’ve finally got a number one—thank you.”

Among his many achievements Rodney toured as special guest with rock and roll legend , the late great Gene Pitney for many years, wrote and recorded 2 songs with him as well .
