After more than 25 years of performing Johnny Cash’s songs, Andy Dashwood has brought together some of the best musicians from qld and interstate to tell the story of how Johnny Cash has influenced and changed his career.

Andy and band would like to present to you, as close as possible, renditions of our favourite Johnny Cash songs.  Surprisingly enough, this is not a show that attempts to look like the man himself or emulate Johnny Cash’s image but to concentrate on the songs and songwriting brilliance.
Showcasing a variety of songs that spread from Johnny Cash’s early career to his final albums.

We want for people to close their eyes and be able to think that Johnny is singing.  To capture a moment in his songs for the first time.  To be able to hear him.  As a performer, to be able to concentrate on his style and songwriting in a special moment.  To be able to showcase his songs and songwriting, to hear his songs as I hear them.
