The Golden Fiddle Show and Awards is an Australian not-for-profit event that presents a generous cross-section of fiddling from across the planet, and provides a platform to celebrate young players. 

The Show is an international celebration of the world’s most extraordinary violinists and fiddlers. From rising stars to seasoned virtuosos, this is a thrilling showcase of skill and passion. Backed by Australia’s finest musicians, enjoy two hours of breathtaking performances in one of Tamworth’s fastest-selling shows for more than 20 years.

The host is the legendary Pixie Jenkins, the greatest fiddle player Australia has ever produced (according to legend John Williamson), with musical direction by Andrew Clermont, globe-trotting recording artist and multi-instrumentalist. Running since 2005 the show has featured country stars from our own John Williamson, Troy Cassar-Daley and Kasey Chambers to The Whitetop Mountaineers of Virginia, surrounded by a hand-picked collection of brilliant fiddlers and musicians.

Sometimes the show is more theatrical, sometimes it’s up close and personal… but it’s always a rollicking good time!
