The City of Tamworth Eisteddfod has now been in operation for 77 years, attracting competitors in the following areas:

Dance | Wednesday, 4 to Monday, Monday 9 June (Tamworth Town Hall)
Music | Tuesday, 10 June  to Friday, 20 June (Tamworth Town Hall & The Con Chapel Theatre - please see programme for dates and venues)
Speech and Drama | Friday, 13 to Saturday 14 June (Tamworth Community Event Centre)
Choral speech | Wednesday, 11 June (Tamworth Town Hall)
Mature Performers | afternoon of Sunday, 22 June (Tamworth Community Event Centre)

Entries into the City of Tamworth Eisteddfod come not only from our local district, but also from all over New South Wales.

The City of Tamworth Eisteddfod is a not for profit organisation run by a small band of volunteers (new members always welcome) that have a goal to create an inviting and rewarding experience for all competitors.

The City of Tamworth Eisteddfod runs throughout June, each year, with the Dance section always scheduled on the June long weekend.
