Presented by Allsopp Signs

A HUMAN SYMPHONY & MZAZA PRODUCTION

DIRECTED BY BENJAMIN KNAPTON

Step out of the ordinary for a spectacular world music experience

World music favourites MZAZA have created a theatrical musical experience like no other - The Birth and Death of Stars.

Inspired by history’s greatest philosophers and astronomers, join Australia’s most celebrated world music group for a theatrical musical experience that is out of this world. Blending stunning vocals in three languages with live music and collage animation, The Birth and Death of Stars is a surreal and inspirational journey into the ether from award winning creations.

★★★★ "A world where the past is ever-present and music knows no borders" Courier Mail

Sitting comfortably between music and theatre, the show is brought to the stage by group of outstanding musicians and songwriters from around the world. Led by enchanting French vocalist Pauline Maudy, it will mesmerise you with inspired performances on accordion, violin, shah kaman, percussion, double-bass and guitar.

Take a step away from the everyday and contemplate our place in the universe to the sounds of some of Australia’s most uniquely diverse musicians and composers.

Free World Music Workshops - (Now Off sale)

Vocal and Instrumental workshops will be held prior to the performance from 5:30pm at Capitol Theatre Tamworth. If you would like to participate in one of these workshops prior to watching the show, please register when purchasing your show ticket.
