09 Oct 2026 - Capitol Theatre
Presented by GSM
IF YOU'RE A BEE GEES FAN, THIS IS THE CONCERT FOR YOU
The Best of the Bee Gees Show honours the 1979 Greatest album with a set list of iconic disco, ballads and songs written by the Bee Gees for other legends at the Capitol Theatre in October.
Endorsed by the Gibb family and original Bee Gees musicians, the core trio of Evan Webster (Barry Gibb), Russell Davey (Robin Gibb) and Greg Wain (Maurice Gibb), will be joined by special guest vocalist Debora McLane (Bee Gees niece).
This will be the 28th year playing Barry Gibb for Evan Webster who is also the creator, producer and co-ordinator of the Best of the Bee Gees. Most weekends, Evan appreciates the time on tour with his ‘on the road family’ sharing stories and performing to new audiences in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Manila, Spain, Portugal, the UK and global cruise ships including “The World” luxury liner.
Greg Wain’s European career highlights include performing at the Royal Albert Hall, international touring with London’s acclaimed vocal group Shout, operatic productions with Pro Musica Chorus of London, sharing the stage with Jose Carreras in Carmen, the Jools Holland Big Band, West End Starlight Express and since 2017, playing Maurice with the Best of the Bee Gees in Australia.
Russell Davey has toured New Caledonia, South Africa, Hong Kong, Canada, Spain, Portugal, New Zealand and the UK with multiple tribute shows. He joined the Best of the Bee Gees in 2013 and has shared the stage at sea with Suzie Quatro, Tony Hadley, Belinda Carlisle, Go West and others.
“I’ve never seen a more professional tribute to the Bee Gees with those beautiful harmonies which are so difficult to achieve. They have worked hard to reproduce the unique sound of my brothers. So tastefully done. Absolutely brilliant and I didn’t want to leave. Lesley Evans (Gibb)
This troupe of seasoned musicians received standing ovations during their 25th anniversary in 2023/24, national concerts this year and most recently, 15 shows throughout New Zealand.
