CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF AUSTRALIA'S MOST EXCITING YOUNG TALENT WITH A FREE SHOW
The SHINE Showcase is now in its tenth year of showcasing incredible young talent at the beautiful Capitol Theatre in Tamworth. This year's lineup includes six emerging new artists and six award winning past Shine performers. And best yet, Shine’s sponsors have made this years concert a FREE SHOW.
Returning performers on this years show are:
- ANGUS GILL – 3 time Golden Guitar Nominee
- KIARA RODRIGUES – Female ‘Rising Star’ Winner and past CCMA Overall Champion
- LEYTON MILNER – Golden Guitar winning songwriter
- KAITLYN THOMAS – Nationally charting artist and double Australian Youth Songwriter of the Year
- LIAM KENNEDY-CLARK – Golden Guitar Finalist and played in bands for Lee Kernaghan, The Wolfe Brothers, Adam Harvey and Beccy Cole

Emerging artists on this year’s show are all CMAA Academy Graduates, some who have already started to make their mark with their music:

The Shine event is a showcase of young emerging talent that Carter & Carter have discovered. The artists get to perform in a non-competitive environment. Backed by an grade band all with professional audio and lighting these artists really have a chance to Shine. In the 10 years since it started over 70 other young performers have performed on Shine, many of who are now becoming seasoned and successful artists.
