With Chris Goodall as the Phantom Guitarist
New Years Eve 1962. One of Country Music’s great legends stops at a wayside garage on the way to a gig. By morning the world will know that Hank Williams is dead.
Dead at 29, Hank had written a string of hits still recorded today to gain the title of King of Country Music". In a short life wracked by pain he survived on prescription drugs and alcohol.
Craig McLachlan gives a mesmerizing tour de force performance as Hank Williams in New York playwright Lanie Robertsons play Nobody Lonesome For Me. Also featuring one of Australia’s leading music performers, Chris Goodall, as the Phantom Guitarist.
