Three Special Event Workshops in March 2020
Masterclass: Obsessed: Compelled to make - with Liz Williamson
The day will involve a presentation from Liz on her work and a discussions of ideas, followed by weaving in the gallery studio.
Participants are invited to bring looms prepared with a warp. Local weaver Sophie Honess , will also be in attendance.
The gallery will supply small looms for use on the day. Please bring along weaving materials.

Burlesque themed life drawing: long pose Sunday class
Join us at this special event with a burlesque themed life model. This is the opportunity to experiment with paints and a range of mediums including drawing materials, ink, and acrylic paints. This is the opportunity to draw from life in a long pose format. You will have time to complete a finessed, detailed drawing or painting on the day.
Experienced students and complete beginners welcome. A tutor will be available to provide instruction and assistance to those who require it.
Enjoy a complimentary beverage upon arrival. Bring along your lunch and art making materials. Please wear enclosed shoes.

Masterclass with exhibiting artist Myfanwy Gullifer
Join exhibiting artist Myfanwy Gillifer in this hand building clay workshop.
This event will start with an informal chat and walk through of her current exhibition About Love. You will then work directly with Myf to create your own piece of whimsy using hand building techniques whilst getting tips and tricks from Myf to add character, visual interest, texture, and meaning to your pieces. This is a one off opportunity to work with this highly acclaimed artist whose work is being met with rave reviews from public and critics alike.
Bring along your lunch and a drink bottle. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please wear enclosed shoes.
Please note: These works will not be fired/glazed on the day
