James Johnston is one of the most exciting voices in country music. Born and raised in the heart of rural Australia, James celebrates the values and traditions of small-town life and documents his experiences through his lyricism and unique style of modern country sounds.

James Johnston’s debut release RAISED LIKE THAT (THE ALBUM) broke records here in Australia thanks to his range as a songwriter, including tracks likes his breakout hit RAISED LIKE THAT, SEEING YOU SOON (a raw and honest display of heart), MY PEOPLE and WE GREW UP ON, which honour his classic country roots and most recently with his high-energy, line dancing anthem BLAME.

This is a special one night only show at the Tamworth Town Hall that James has curated for the 2025 Tamworth Country Music Festival.
