Presented by Entertainment Venues & Wheelhouse Agency
4 women, 4 voices, 1 night of extraordinary songwriting
Entertainment Venues and Wheelhouse Agency are proud to present HER SOUND, HER STORY, celebrating the next generation of powerful Australian women in country music, for an intimate night of storytelling and songwriting.
Her Sound, Her Story will feature Hayley Jensen, Taylor Moss, Tori Forsyth & Tyla Rodrigues stripped back and acoustic, peeking behind the curtain and sharing the stories behind their songwriting, as well as celebrating the songs from the women that came before them that influenced their careers and their passion for country music.
Hayley Jensen is a 2 x Golden Guitar award nominee, with a #1 ARIA Country Album under her belt, and her first album in 5 years Country Soul due for release on 29 August. In 2025, she won the Independent Country Music Awards for Best Single and Best Video following her 2024 win as Most Popular Female Artist. Renowned for her electric live performances, Hayley has headlined Tamworth CMF (Main Stage 2023), and performed at major festivals including Deni Ute Muster, Groundwater CMF, and Gympie Muster, and is the Feature Artist for PBR Australia this year, performing her new music live to thousands of rodeo and country fans in stadiums across the Nation. From a breakout finalist on Australian Idol to a ‘chair-turning’ standout on The Voice with coach Kylie Minogue, who dubbed her ‘the whole package’, Jensen has evolved into a fierce, independent, globally recognised artist whose music is both powerful and empowering.
Taylor Moss released her critically acclaimed debut album Firecracker in 2024 and achieved chart topping success, as well as being recognised with three nominations at the 2025 Golden Guitar Awards, including Best Female Artist and Album of the Year. Electrifying performances on the iconic main stages of CMC Rocks & The Gympie Music Muster lead to performances in the UK and at the CMA Festival in Nashville as the only Australia female representative. Following her first solo headline tour along the East Coast of Australia, Taylor's unmatched ability to engage an audience paid off, receiving The People's Choice Award at Groundwater Music Festival. A word from Taylor “I really would love to be a role model for young women. I want them to look at me and listen to my music and feel strong, powerful, and beautiful. I think every single human on this earth should feel worthy.”
Tori Forsyth is a powerful alt-country songwriter, known for her earthy, emotive storytelling. Her third studio album, 2024’s All We Have Is Who We Are, marked a triumphant new phase of her career, with a slew of nominations including an ARIA Nomination for Best Country album, 3 x Golden Guitar nominations, 2 x Countrytown nominations, and a win for Best Country Album at the 2024 QMA’s. Having just finished her first tour of the US, she returns home to hit the road with US artist Jesse Daniel in October, and to hit the studio to begin recording her next album.
Tyla Rodrigues is a remarkable new talent in the realm of country music. Showing incredible maturity, grace and ambition, Tyla stands away from the crowd with her heartfelt lyrics, and captivating stage presence, and has become a sought-after performer at some of the most prestigious festivals in Australia - Groundwater Country Music Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, and Gympie Music Muster. After spending 2024 supporting US country superstar Dylan Gossett's Australian tour, and releasing her debut EP Upon Reflection, Tyla signed a deal with ABC Music and headed to the US to perform at the 2025 CMA’s. With new music on the way, Tyla Rodrigues is ready to deliver in 2026 on the hype, a fully formed and spotlight-ready young artist, blessed with one of the finest voices of any genre in Australia.
