Melinda's reputation as a talented vocalist has been enhanced by her forays into the jazz idiom.

She has released two tribute albums to Doris Day and has combined with Tom Burlinson to recreate The Hits of Doris Day and Frank Sinatra in sold out live performances at the Sydney Opera House and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane.
