Big Bad Wolf
18 - 19 Oct - TRECC
Presented by Jump Up Trampoline Zone | A Windmill Theatre Company Production
The most misunderstood character in fairytale history
Big Bad Wolf is a modern fairytale of friendship that explores what it’s like to be misunderstood and a little bit different.
Wolfy may look scary, but he’s really just a poem-writing vegematarian. He’s all alone in the world because of how he looks and sounds, and because of what everyone thinks he is – a big bad wolf. It’s only when the irrepressible Heidi Hood appears (a distant relative of Little Red Riding Hood) that someone thinks twice and starts to see him for who he really is. Big Bad Wolf is joyful, funny and full of quirky characters.
"A clever, warmhearted parable that... lights up the imaginations of its target audience.
It’s an ideal introduction to theatre." THE AGE
"Greeted with delight from both children and adults..." THE GUARDIAN
Since its 2013 premiere in Adelaide, Big Bad Wolf has been presented across Australia and the world, including seasons in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and a major North American tour in 2016.
Age recommendation: 5yrs+ and their families
