Tamworth’s NAIDOC Committee presents Tamworth’s Inaugural NAIDOC Awards Ceremony.

Tamworth NAIDOC invites all community members to join us in celebrating the achievements and talent of our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people contribute to our community in a number of different ways through the arts, sporting, politics, academia, community development and many more.

The Committee believes the theme for NAIDOC 2016, Songlines – the living narrative or our nation, is fitting to begin a tradition of celebrating and recognising the achievements that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people contribute to the living narrative of our community and our nation.
