The Twits
15 Aug 2019 - TRECC
Presented by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre
“A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly.” – Roald Dahl, The Twits.
Roald Dahl’s The Twits is a comedy of rebellion and justice in which Muggle-Wump the monkey races to outwit Mr and Mrs Twit, two of most terrible and disgusting people ever to have lived. Playfulness and tricks are more successful than following the rules in this classic Roald Dahl story, making it fantastically well suited to the grotesque world of puppet theatre.
“This is an enjoyable production that children and adults alike will love. Full of colour and movement; humour and a positive message …Take your children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, the neighbour’s kids… they’ll have a blast.” - Richard Hyde, Perth Theatre Review
Join us for the Tamworth season of this new adaption of The Twits, it is Roald Dahl in his purest form – unsentimental, grotesque and a lot of fun!
