The Three Musketeers
22 - 30 Mar - Capitol Theatre
Presented by Tamworth Dramatic Society
"All for one, and one for all! ”
Based on the timeless swashbuckling novel by Alexandre Dumas, The Three Musketeers is a tale of heroism, treachery, close escapes, and above all, honour.
Paris, 1625: d'Artagnan encounters the greatest heroes of the day, Athos, Porthos and Aramis, the famous musketeers. Together with his plucky sister Sabine, d'Artagnan joins forces with his heroes to defend the honour of France. In so doing, he finds himself in opposition to the dangerous Cardinal Richelieu, and the infamous Countess de Winter.
“A slick, swashbuckling… Ken Ludwig's new version of the story simply refreshes it, distilling its energy and strengthening its timeless appeal."
- The Guardian
