A gifted vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Brendan’s second album, Start All Over Again won the Golden Guitar for Traditional Country Album of the Year at the 2026 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards (edging out music icon John Williamson for the top gong) and achieved an incredible seven nominations across multiple categories. Brendan’s songs have obviously struck a chord with radio presenters and listeners alike, with each of the four singles released from the album achieving top ten chart success.
A number of previously released songs including ‘Snow’ the title track from his critically acclaimed first album have become staples on country music playlists.
Brendan has performed and recorded in his own right for many years, as well as touring with many leading Australian and international artists. He is well known in the industry as one of its leading musicians and is in huge demand for session and live work. He won Musician of the Year in 2022 and is Musical Director for the annual Golden Guitar Awards, among many other projects. Brendan is also an incredibly talented songwriter and performer in his own right, both as an instrumentalist and as a vocalist, with an appealing, resonant voice and a special kind of quiet charisma.
