5 x CMAA Golden Guitar Winner Ashleigh Dallas is bringing her homegrown stories and award winning songs to the heart of her hometown in the iconic Tamworth Town Hall - Wednesday 24th January 2024 - her one & only Tamworth Country Music Festival show.

 

Born in Tamworth and growing up in the region and 3rd Generation of the Dallas family - Ashleigh has always had a dream to play and present her own show in the venue that has been monumental in the history of Australian Country music. Ashleigh feels the importance of lifting to the spirit that is the Tamworth Town Hall, making it clear why her show at the Tamworth Town Hall is fastly becoming one of the Must See shows of the entire festival!

 

Secondhand Stories is proudly presented by the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music where Ashleigh has had a long standing relationship by starting her own musical studies at age 2 within the Early Childhood Music program. This TCMF show will also feature a youth choir from The Tamworth CON that Dallas has mentored in the lead up to the Festival , nurturing the love & power that comes by connecting to a lyric and story within a song.

 

Secondhand Stories - is A show where Ashleigh through her songs and stories  will connect to her audience captivating them to feel joy ,tapping their feet to feel good country music with Fiddles, guitar & banjo featured throughout  - to then stopping her audience with her stand out acapella vocals showcasing emotional and vulnerable performance at its best & why she is a proud winner of the 2022 Golden Guitar Award for Female Artist of the Year.

 

Dallas plans her Tamworth show to be a celebration - basking in the Golden moments such as winning the 2023 Golden Guitar Award Traditional Country Album for her 5th studio album “In The Moment”. A moment shared with her Dad & producer Brett Dallas - who together also won this award for the inaugural year in 2018 on their album “Lighthouse” - making Australian Country Music History as the first Country music family to hold 3 Generations of Golden Guitar Awards.

 

Ashleigh is a proud ambassador for the The Dolly Parton Imagination Library Australia, highlighting the importance of early childhood literacy & the art of a physical book sparking curiosity & endless imagination within.

With the highest of highs of winning Golden Guitars, Ash will tell you her biggest achievement is becoming a Mum to her beautiful daughters Harriet & Lillian, cementing the drive within to continue sharing her story while fully embracing who she is & while honoring her strong family heritage in Australian Country music also making sure she is being true to her sound.

Opening the show as support is Noosa based artist & 2023 Toyota Star Maker finalist Sari Abbott. Sari is a graduate of the CMAA Academy of Country Music & shares her dreamy vocal tones in her own songs such as “Feels Like Home”.

So it is safe to say that the Wednesday night of Tamworth Country Music Festival - The Tamworth Town Hall is the place to be.

Ashleigh Dallas - Secondhand Stories is going to be a night to remember, watching an artist feel right at home on a stage where they are destined to be.
