Join Multi CMAA Golden Guitar Winner & 3rd Generation of the Dallas Family - Ashleigh Dallas, as she shares her Heart Of Home show in the iconic venue, in the heart of her hometown - The Tamworth Town Hall - Saturday 23 April - as she celebrates her music as a part of the 50th Anniversary of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
The Tamworth born country artist has spent many years building her foundations as an original artist and if you have been a regular at the Tamworth Country Music festival you may feel like you have watched Ashleigh grow up.
Heart of Home is presented by the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music, where Ashleigh started her musical studies at age 2 & in the past year, a proud staff member in the Early Childhood Teaching faculty.
When planning this show and it being the 50th Anniversary of the TCMF in 2022, Ashleigh really wanted to take herself and fans to the next chapter in her Tamworth story in a venue with so much history and heart - The Town Hall being the perfect space to share her songs of Life, family, hardships & love and connecting to the audience with her charismatic personality and humbleness, authenticity and relatability.
Winning the inaugural Traditional Country Album of The Year Golden Guitar in 2018, which also saw her father and producer Brett Dallas recognised with a Golden Guitar Award, Dallas made Australian country music history as the first family who shares three generations of Golden Guitar Awards.
The show will feature her award winning & hit songs including Lighthouse, Me, Sail Away , Settling Down, Good & Bad Days and many of the fan favourites in the show as Dallas has been releasing music since 2008 and in that time has released 3 EPS, and 4 Studio albums. Heart of Home will excite the audience as Ashleigh will also share new songs, which will be a preview of what to expect from her forthcoming album.
The Singer songwriter, multi instrumentalist & CMAA Academy graduate has toured extensively with her own dates across Australia and international shoreline and a much loved artist on many a festival stage. She has also shared her musicianship skills on national tours with Kasey Chambers, Shane Nicholson, Troy Cassar-Daley and Cruisin’ Country Theatre band.
In 2021 Ashleigh was featured in a collaboration with Multi Golden Guitar winning artist Luke O’Shea on his catchy track Long Way Round which hit number #1 on several radio stations and the quirky video reaching over 120K views. This release also lead into the start of more solo work with the release Good & Bad Days co-written with Aussie award winning music legend Matt Scullion - and the video clip directed by Jay Seeney hitting the #1 Video across all genres on iTunes.
