Alice In Wonderland
17 - 25 Mar - Capitol Theatre

Lewis Carroll’s Classic Story
Adapted by William Glennon
Alice In Wonderland, adapted by playwright William Glennon, is a play that is so similar in style and sentiment to Lewis Carroll’s original 1865 novel, one might suspect it was written by Carroll himself.
“Who in the world am I?’ Ah, that’s the great puzzle!”
We set the stage for this curious journey, with a group of funny little people seeking out an Alice for her own turn in Wonderland. They entice and enchant the young girl until she can resist no more.
As she falls down the rabbit hole, Alice meets a collection of curious characters who help – and hinder – her along the way. She slowly begins to forget what ‘normal’ is, and falls in love with the wondrously, wonderful place of Wonderland.
Cleverly brought to life by Tamworth Dramatic Society, this ‘made in Tamworth’ production will fill the hearts of all who remember this classic tale. You may actually find yourself asking…“Who is Alice”?
