Social Media Policy
Tamworth Regional Council (Council) invites you to participate by giving us your views, opinions or comments. Please note that Entertainment Venues is a division of Tamworth Regional Council.
While anyone can view these communication channels, you must register for each social media platform to participate.
Privacy
As part of the submission process, you agree to your submissions being made public through these avenues immediately. You also agree that your details, including submissions, are transferred outside of Australia (worldwide) and are subject to the relevant Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of the platforms being used as listed below.
Tamworth Regional Council is subject to the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 and is committed to respecting your privacy. We therefore ask that you respect the privacy of others when posting in our social media channels. Council records all information posted and uses that information for record-keeping and for considering and/or addressing any comments made. Acceptable use
Views expressed via Council's social media platforms by anyone other than Tamworth Regional Council or an authorised representative thereof are not Council's views and Council disclaims all liability for any such views, comments, advertising, rich media or other non-Council content. Inflammatory, defamatory, commercial, spam and comments encouraging activities illegal in Australia or that are detected as transgressing copyright or intellectual property laws will be deleted.
Council strives to review content on a regular basis. However, there may be times when offensive comments that do not meet Acceptable Use, appear on the page before they can be deleted and reported (during business hours) and may leave the posting party open to disciplinary or legal repercussions.
Facebook is a social networking website privately owned by Facebook, where users can add friends and send messages, update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves. Additionally, users can join groups, networks and "like pages". View Facebook's Privacy Policy and Terms.

Instagram is a photo-sharing website. Users may upload an Instagram image to the Tamworth Country Music Festival (TCMF) stream. It must be approved by TCMF before it is shown on their website.
