Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Fundraiser Concert

Join us to celebrate the official launch of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Tamworth Project. The evening will feature Dolly Parton songs performed by Kirsty Lee Akers, Aleyce Simmonds, Gabriela McDonald and more plus a special video message from Dolly herself!
Tamworth Regional Council and United Way Australia united to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) program to children in Tamworth. The program aims to bring the magic of a library into the home, with a gift of a book every month before school begins. Every child in the program is given real, physical books to keep, and kick start a lifelong love of reading.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a practical and effective initiative for changing the status on early childhood literacy. Children's books have the extraordinary ability to connect families, create lasting memories and open hearts and minds sparking a life-long love of learning and empathy for others.
Proceeds from this concert will go to the DPIL Tamworth Project. This is a family friendly event.
