Tracy Coster

04 - 14 Jan - Tamworth Southside Uniting Church

Golden Guitar winner Tracy Coster will take the stage with her Up Close and Personal Concert early January

Her PRE -Pre festival shows begin just days into the New Year. January 4th, 10th and 14th at 1pm where she will be sharing songs from Coster Country Take II with old friends and new at the Southside Uniting Church. It’s a long time between drinks in terms of Coster Country albums, which only ever happened due to public demand and an inherent love and respect for the works of Stan Coster, the man.

Stan Coster’s daughter has done him proud, releasing 5 albums of her own, as well as those paying tribute to themuch-loved scribe who had 76 songs
cut by the late, great Slim Dusty.

Released in 2004, the original Coster Country won Australian Independent Country Album of the Year in the Southern Stars Awards at Mildura, followed by the 2005 Vocal Collaboration of the Year Golden Guitar with Anne Kirkpatrick for Back to the Saltbush Plains.  It’s one of several standout tracks on the first Coster Country release.

This new album features duets with good friends Beccy Cole, Glenn Jones, Jeff Brown, Chad Morgan and Tracy’s sister, Jayne Coster-Kelly, who has just recently found her voice.

Tracy loves the idea of taking her grass roots, Up Close and Personal Show to the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Don’t miss your opportunity to come along to a Tracy Coster show. With her bubbly personality and deep respect for tradition, it’s an experience you won’t forget in a hurry.
